TPS - Things with Wing

Todays challenge over at The Paper Shelter is a favourite of mine "THINGS WITH WINGS' as I just love to colour a Fairy.

The image I have used for my card today is Daisies in Paradise.

I have coloured mainly with Copics and a few Graph-It markers.

I have added a layer of clear Spectrum Noir Glitter pen for a lovely sparkle, unfortunately it never shows in the photos!

I layered papers from my stash and added some die-cut corners.  Finishing off with a Foiled Sentiment.

I have coloured up the beautiful Rose with my Copics.

My background is a rose embossed pink cardstock with an orange band, I love these colours together.

Finished off with Resin flowers and die cut leaves and Butterflies.

TPS - Embellishment

This week over at The Paper Shelter it is all about Embellishments.

The image I have used this week is Moon Spell which I have coloured with Copics.

I made a mask to do the background with distress inks and then flicked over some metallic white water colour.

I kept the embellishments quite basic just framing with some bling and adding a couple of flowers in the Corner.

So we are back today with a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter

I have used the image Unicornmania.

I have only made this bow card once before, it is from Sandras Scrapshop and really thought it was pretty, so started by cutting out the white blanks on my Silhouette Cameo.

Next I looked through my papers and picked a bunch of co-ordinating papers from a 12 x 12 paper pad I got in Hobby Craft - Sparkle & Shine.

I should have used white paper instead of card, as it is really hard to bend the bow using thick card, but got it stuck together eventually with a glue gun.

Once all my layers were glued together, I coloured my image in shades of blue and purple with my Copics, then added some tiny flowers and some pink leaves also cut on my Cameo.

"A Birthday Card", so we would love to see all your beautiful creations.

I have chosen to colour up Olivia using my Copics.  As usual I colour my image first, then design my cards around that, probably not the best way as then I take ages finding matching papers etc.

Well I finally managed to find some after a good 30 minutes searching through all my Paper Pads.

I add a printed sentiment and some leafy die cuts and finished off with liquid pearls in the centre of all the flowers.

Happy Easter everyone, not being a religious person it is all about the Chocolate and getting together with Family for me.

Unfortunately I have Type 2 Diabetes and started a strict no carbs, no sugar diet this weeek, so no chocolate eggs for me this year!!

So onto my card for our Easter challenge, I have used the fab Funny Easter Bunny

I have used Copics to colour him up and some nice pastel tones for the egg, I found a cute background Paper in my stash to finish off my simple Easter Card.

We have a great theme this week over at The paper shelter - GIRL POWER.

My image is Trapezist, doesn't she look fabulous flying through the air.

I have coloured my image with Copics in shades of Green & Purple, I think it is a lovely combo.

I layered up some fab circle dies I purchased at Ally Pally a couple of weeks ago.

I recently sorted out all my dies, so remembered I had a feather that was perfect for this project along with various flowers from my stash.

Finished with a sentiment from Inkylicious.

Its time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter .

I have spent a lot of time roaming through the woods his week, as my cat decided to take a ride under the bonnet of an electric car and ended up 13 miles away in the middle of the woods!!  Thankfully on our third search in the woods we found him and he is home and safe, so I thought my image this week was the perfect choice for our theme LET IT BE SPRING, she is Spirit of the Woods.

My image is coloured with Copics and I stayed with 3 main colours for this image to compliment the Pre-coloured background that comes with the image.  Green, Brown & Red.

I added some tiny flowers and butterflies to add some dimension to the card.

Below is my wandering Cat, Cloud, astonished but so happy we found him.

Hyacinth

Wow, it has been so hot this last week that I have been feeling very lazy, but I did make time to create a Birthday card for a work collegue, which is also my inspiration project for Polkadoodles DIGI CHOOSDAY challenge.

The image I have use is 'Hyacinth' from the Darling Buds collection, I have coloured her with copics in shades of pink and teal, my favourite colour combo.

I teamed her up with one of the beautiful papers from the Helga Hippo collection.

My colleague is a girl who likes a lot of bling, so I edged the white centre chevron with sticky back gems and finally I added a mini envelope with hearts escaping.

Some Bunny

I have a very quick and easy project to share today for my polkadoodles DIGI CHOOSDAY inspiration.

The image I have used is "Some Bunny adores you' from the Too Cute collection, I thought this would be perfect to adorn a little treat bag for a new pet.

I have coloured him with Copics and used the blender pen to dab some texture on his fur.

The bag is a design from the Silhouette store which has been cut using one of the papers from Sticks and Bones.

Finally I tied some ribbon from my stash to add a cute bow.

Zodiac Sprites

This week I have been working on the sweetest new Showcase for Aurora Wings, three adorable Zodiac Sprites, although there are four in the new release.

First up is my star sign ARIES, this cute little ram has been coloured with Copics and the frame is cut on my Silhouette Cameo, as are all the frames on this trio of cards.

 

 Next up is TAURUS the bull, also coloured with Copics.

 

Finally CANCER, who orginally i was going to colour the conventional red/orange, but then I remembered a TV show where I had seen blue crabs, so I looked it up on google and sure enough there was a crab with blue and purple legs, so here is my little blue guy.
