TPS - Woodland Elf

It's time for our Summer Break challenge over at The Paper Shelter which will run for 4 weeks, so plenty of time to join in, it is also an Anything Goes Challenge.

I have used the image Whimsical Woodland Elf for my DT card this week.

I have coloured with Copic Markers and used papers from my stash.

I added a small banner and dandelion cut on Glitter card.

TPS - Holiday Time

Here in the UK it almost time for the Schools to Break Up for Summer and this is when most of us take our Summer Holiday.

This year my Family and I are off to Turkey, where I will while away the hours reading a book and sipping on a Pina Colada.

So todays inspiration is the image Enjoying the Summer.

My image has been coloured with Copic Markers, I found some cute little flip flop embellishments I have had for years and never used and they are perfect for this card.

Daisy Fairy

TPS - 3 Times Anything

Its time for our latest challenge over at The Paper Shelter and our challenge is to add three of anything to your card.

The image I have used this week is Mermaids Dreamland.

The majority of this image is coloured with Copic Markers, but I have also used stardust pens for the tail, fish and flower in her hair, she is so sparkly.

My three items are the resin seashells I made.


Here is a closeup of her scales, you can just about see the sparkle.

Hydrangea Fairy

Todays DT inspiration for Moondrea Designs is the beautiful Hydrangea Fairy.

Hydrangeas are one of my favourite flowers and I have about 9 plants in my Garden, they are all just blooming and filling the garden with colour.

I have coloured with Copics in shades of blue, my favourite colour for these Flowers.

I used some lovely Hydrangea backing paper and also had an attempt at recreating a Hydrangea flower using small flowers.

The sentiment was foiled and then stamped around with a small Card-io Hydrangea stamp.

TPS - Summer Activity

When I think of Summer I don't really think of activity's, just lazing in the Sunshine on holiday, so the image I have chosen to use this week is A Nice Tan.

I have coloured the image with Copic Markers and chose the colour scheme using a card from the Sarah Renae Clark colour cube.

TPS - Chocolate

This weeks challenge theme at The Paper Shelter is all about Chocolate.

The image I have used is Cocoa Jacuzzi, well I love a bit of Chocolate and also chilling out in my Jacuzzi so this image jumped out at me, when I was deciding which to use.

I have coloured with Copic Markers.

I decided to go with a purple scheme as it reminded me of Cadbury's.

Coralina

Today's Moondrea Designs Inspiration card is made using the image Coralina, such a beautiful Mermaid.

I have coloured her with Copic Markers and added some sparkly scales with Aurora Flakes.

I used distress inks for the background and added a couple of die-cuts from my stash.

Sakura Fairy

Today I am sharing my latest Design Team inspiration for MOONDREA DESIGNS, this image is Sakura Fairy and you can find her here.

I have coloured her with Copics, with added stickies, metallic stardust pen and Spectrum noir clear sparkle pen.

The background was created with spray inks.



Once again I used my Colour Cube to pick my colour combo.

Garnet Fairy

My latest DT inspiration card for Moondrea Designs is the stunning Garnet Fairy.

I recently received my Colour Cube by Sarah Renae Clark and thought it would be a great opportunity to use it for my colour choices.

This is the card I chose to use, it was a great way to use colours together that I would not normally go to.




I used a sparkle gel pen for the copper around the wings and on her jewellery.

I hope you like the finished image.

Our theme this week at The Paper Shelter is YUMMY DELIGHTS.

My favourite things are a coffee and a muffin, so what better image to use than Pixie Caramel Macchiato.

I used my Copics to colour the image and some papers from my stash.

I created the sentiment in Silhouette Studio.

Gnome

Today I am sharing a card that I made using an image coloured following one of the latest Kit & Clowder markers classes.

It was such a fun image to colour, with some great techniques being taught and I am really happy with how it turned out.

Baby Dragon

Today I would like to share with you a card I made after following a Kit & Clowder colouring tutorial.

I decided to colour this image using my Spectrum Noir pencils.  I didn't have any pencil paper, so used some paper I had for acrylic paint, which mean't I didn't really have enough texture for the pencil to adhere to, but I like the softness achieved.

Daffodil Maiden

I am delighted to be sharing my first post as part of the design team for Moondrea Designs.

The image we are showcasing is the beautiful Daffodil Maiden, which is just perfect as the daffodils are just staring to bloom in the UK.

I have coloured the image with Copics and also used some sparkle pens for the pearls, belt and edge of her dress.

I then matted and layered her with complementary card and finally used some patterned paper from my stash for the background.

TPS - Easter

With Easter fact approaching out theme this week at THE PAPER SHELTER is of course EASTER.

I used the image Easter Masterpiece for my card.

I have coloured the image with Copics and also a little stardust pen for the glasses, paintbrush and fusion, which gives a lovely sparkle.

I found some cute easter paper in my stash for the background and finished with some colour co-ordinated card and gems.

Merryfall

Just put together this quick card for my Father-in-Law for his 80th Birthday from my Son.

The image is by Pink Ink Designs and called Merryfall.

I stamped the image onto a background I had created some time ago and then coloured with Pencils.

The top sentiment is from Lisa Horton and bottom using Clarity Stamps.

TPS - Pink or Pearls

Our theme this week at The Paper Shelter is Pink and or Pearls.  I decided to use both in my card this week.

I have used the image Valentine Hugand made a Valentines card for my Hubby.

I used some paper from my stash and also embossed some pink card with hearts for my background.

I coloured my image with Copics and added some pearls down the side and also a pearl heart.

TPS - RIBBON OR TWINE

For this weeks DT card for The Paper Shelter, I have used the image She's Charming.

Our theme this week is Ribbon or Twine, so I did a ribbon weave in Red and added a contrasting Turquoise Bow, I really like Red & Turquoise together.

Toadstall House

Had a little play with my Lavinia Stamps, I have such a large collection but rarely have the time to get all inky with them, so this was really enjoyable.

The images are stamped in Versavine Clair and coloured with Polychromas Pencils.  I have used sparkle Posca Pens on the Flowers.

Inspired by a Tutorial by Jo Rice.

TPS - SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH F

Our challenge this week at The Paper Shelter is SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH F, which is a lovely chance to colour one of my favourite things "Fairies".

I have used the image Fairy Queen.

I used left over papers from my stash for the layers and background and coloured my image with Copics.

I embossed my sentiment in gold and added some die cut butterflies.

TPS - All Things New

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas break, we are back with our first challenge of the year over at The Paper Shelter.

Our theme this week is ALL THINGS NEW.  I was a little stumped at first with this one, you have the obvious new baby, new home, new year, but I wanted to do a particular image Lullaby Moon, after a bit of thinking I thought "What is better than a new day", so here is my card, coloured with Copics.
