The Dancing Princess

Today I am sharing a card I have made using the image I coloured with the latest Kit & Clowder class.

The beautiful image is by Moonflower called Lilly The Dancing Princess.

I have coloured with Copics and made into a card for my niece's 18th Birthday this week.

I wanted to keep my original colouring, so I scanned it and made the card with copy.  The colour is a little duller in the scanned image, but still looks good.

I decorated with a mix of resin and paper flowers.

This is my original coloured image.

Digi Choosday Week 31

We are still full of Christmas spirit over at DIGI CHOOSDAY.

Unfortunately work commitments have meant I am a little behind with my DT work (oops), but wait all is not lost, with all the pre-coloured images available to me, I was able to make a really quick hanging decoration.

I took an image from Festive Hollybobs and cut around it on my Cameo.  I found a Poinsettia file I have (Sandras Scrapshop) and cut out several layers in red card stock.

I edged each petal with my clear Spectrum Noir sparkle pen and 20 minutes later a beautiful decoration for my tree.

We would love to see you enter our ANYTHING GOES challenge and of course there is a prize on offer.

To help there is also a discount code every Choosday.

Digi Choosday Week 30

It's DIGI CHOOSDAY and time for a new inspiration post, these last few weeks we have been getting a start of Christmas.

I have made a Christmas countdown Calendar using a cutting file by Samantha Walker.

I have used papers and an image from my favourite Christmas collection -  Octavia Frosted Winter.  I just love the colours and magic of this collection.

The main part and the two blocks are cut in heavy white card stock.  I printed one of the landscapes from the collection to decorate the stand and added some blue sparkle washi tape to the bottom edge.

The blocks are also covered in different papers from the collection.

I cut the main image out on my cameo and added lots of sparkle with a SN pen.  Finally adding a couple of wooden snowflakes.

Remember to go grab todays discount code HERE.

Have a great week.

Digi Choosday Week 29

The Design Team have been working on projects using Christmas/Winter colours this week.

I know Red & Green are the traditional Christmas Colours, but when I think of Christmas I see Blue and Silver, so that is what I have used on my project.

I used my favourite pre-coloured images from Octavia Frosted Winter and cut a bauble shape around them.

I then used one of the ribbon dies from Polka doodles ribbon-gift-frames-corners die set and added to the top with a little gem.

I also used one of the stalk stamps from Summertime STAMP ME for the baubles to 'Hang' from.

I added a little MDF Xmas that I painted blue and covered with glitter.

Wow it seems so early to do Christmas, but then I always leave it too late.

High Heels

I have waiting for a while now to use one the quirky images by Bloobel Stamps and this week I had the perfect opportunity to use one on a birthday card for a work colleague, who just loves her high heels.

The image is coloured with Copics with some clear sparkle pen on those hight heels.

Papers are from an awesome paper pad I found in B & M home stores for £2.99, bit of a bargain for a 12 x 12 24 page collection and they are great quality paper too.

I finished with a strip of diamonds an some flowers.
