Hi All

Today is my last post as part of the Paper Shelter Design Team.

I have loved being a part of the team, but need some time out for family issues.

I have used the adorable Elf Nose Surprise and coloured my image with Copic Markers.

We had to add a number to our card this week and my Neices 5th Birthday is on Christmas Day, so I made this card for her, her favourite colour is purple.

I used papers and stickers from my stash to complete my card.

Today our theme at the Paper Shelter is FOR THE LITTLE ONES.

My Brother and his wife recently had a new addition to their family, so I have created this card for their new little boy.

The image I have used is The Best Nap Ever.

I have coloured the image with Copics in shades of Grey and Blue and mounted on a starry background with a die cut moon and star.

Our theme this week at The Paper Shelter is Squares/Circles.

I went for a square card with circle elements.

I have used the Vampire image from Three Halloween Monsters to make a birthday card for my Brother whose birthday is the day before Halloween.

The Sorceress

As Halloween approaches today I am sharing a new image by Moondrea Designs called "The Sorceress".

She has been coloured with Copics, I tried to keep to a minimal colour palette of Orange and Green, with a couple of Red accents.  I added some stardust pens for the gold elements and some glossy accents on the gems.

I coloured a blue/violet background to make her pop and added some Posca pen dots.

She is layered onto a shimmering orange background.

It is getting colder out now in the UK, Autumn is well and truly here and the Leaves are falling.

The image I have used today is Can we have some.

The image is coloured with Copic Markers, I layered this behind a circle aperture I cut in patterned paper and added sone gold leaf stickers around the edges.

Lily Snow White

I really enjoyed colouring this image from Moondrea Designs.

She is called Lily Snow White and has been coloured with Copics.

I added glossy accents to the apple for a lovely shine.

The paper is from my stash and I added some sparkly gold tape (a little crooked I know)

Finishing off with 2 pretty flowers.

It's time for a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter and this week we are using embossing on our projects.

The image I have used is The Fairy and the Flower

I have used two different embossing folders on the background and also embossed a sentiment.

The image is coloured with Copic Markers and kept my card green and lilac.

I finished by adding some small flowers.

Todays inspiration card for Moondrea Designs is Aster Maiden, she has been coloured with Copics.I have used my Colour cube for the colour combination.

Lilly the White Queen

Today's DT card for Moondrea Designs is using the image Lilly the White Queen.

My image is mostly coloured with Copics, but I was struggling with the hair on this image, so did an underlay of C3 Copic and then went over with Prisma Pencils in blue, purple, black and pink.

Not sure I am happy with the hair, for some reason I just could not get it how I imagined it to look.

I kept to a simple palette of Purple and Orange and  rose embossed some card for the background and added flowers and butterflies from my stash.

Over at the Paper Shelter our  summer break is over and I am gearing up for my Son to go back to School.

Appropriately, this week's theme is back to the books and I have used the image  Bookworm Fairy.

To colour her up I followed one of my old tutorials from Kit & Clowder, she is coloured using Copic Markers.

I kept the card simple as there is a lot of detail in the image, the background was all hand drawn following the turtorial, I think it adds a lovely element to the image, but the colouring did take a good couple of hours.

Here in the UK it almost time for the Schools to Break Up for Summer and this is when most of us take our Summer Holiday.

This year my Family and I are off to Turkey, where I will while away the hours reading a book and sipping on a Pina Colada.

So todays inspiration is the image Enjoying the Summer.
