After a lot of procrastinating, this weekend I finally started on my Christmas Cards using the wonderful Card-io Stamps.
I started all my cards by using either a bauble or circle mask and using Distress inks to create my take on Northern Lights, I just find them so mesmerising and would love to see them for real.
Once I was happy with the sky, I used another mask to make the snowy hills.
Finally I set to work with the Stamps using Versafine Clair ink. I have several sets of stamps and just mixed and matched which ones I thought would look nice together.
You can't see in the photos but there is clear spectrum sparkle pen over parts of the snow that give a lovely sparkle.
Three down, a load more to go, but now I have started I want to keep going.
Challenges Entered:-
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas - Christmas
Creative Fingers - ATG
Craft Rocket - Winter/Snow
Simon Says Stamp - Make your own background
Unicorn Challenge - Christmas/Winter
These are stunning Julie. I would love to see them for real too. You have done an amazing job of replicating what I imagine that they would look like. I like that you kept the rest of the card as white so the focus stays on the Northern Lights panel. Thank you for entering the Use Some Glitter Challenge at CHNC.
