For this weeks DT inspiration at DIGI CHOOSDAY, we were asked to recycle something.
So I grabbed an empty Twiglets canister from the recycling bin and transformed it into a handy holder for my scissors, paint brushes and rulers.
So I grabbed an empty Twiglets canister from the recycling bin and transformed it into a handy holder for my scissors, paint brushes and rulers.
I started by covering the tub in tissues paper and a couple of layers of Gesso and white paint.
Once it was all dry, I used my distress oxides in blue, pink and purple and dabbed all over until I had a good coverage, then also added a little gold gilding wax over the creases the tissue paper had made.
I coloured up the beautiful Darling Buds Bluebell with my Copics and then glued to the tub, with some little flowers from my stash and some pearl edging around the top.
Finally I tried a bit of hot foiling using my laminator to add my name to the side.
