Aurora Wings Double Showcase Part 1

It's Showcase time over at Aurora Wings and this time Mitzi has given us two stunners to Showcase.

First up we have a full A4 sized Snowqueen, I really wanted to capture a feeling of sparkling ice, which I think I achieved, but as always when you photograph it, those sparkles hide!!

I used Kuratake Gambsi watercolors for the background in blue, pink and white gold shimmer.

The main image is coloured with Copics, then I used a silver and metallic blue gel pen for the icicles, which show up much better in the closeup below.

Here you can see better the sparkle much better
Head over to the Showcase to see all the beautiful projects by the rest of the Design Team, there are some real beauties.

This image will be available in the Easy Shop Today.

YOU CAN FIND PART 2 OF THE SHOWCASE HERE - Just to warn you it is another fabulous Sprite!!

  2. I always love coming to the post for more details and more pics to really admire a piece. I can totally relate to the difficulty of capturing certain things with a camera - sparkle being one of the major pain! I love the background of brush strokes that remind me of a snow storm - flakes flying in all kinds of directions. All the icy details are really stunning, Julie! Thank you so much for this gorgeous sample for today's new release showcase. Mitzi xxx
