So my first challenge was to find an image of two grooms, after a couple of hours scouring the internet with no results (a little surprising in this day and age!). I had a look through all the digi's I already have and found an image from Sureya on Diviant Art, that I thought would be suitable.
I opened the image in word then duplicated it and flipped it, so I had two identical images, kind of looking at each other and thought it would pass as a wedding image - I hope you agree. I then added the sentiment.
The image is coloured with pro markers then cut with Spellbinders Grand Ovals and matted onto a large Oval.
The backing paper is by 1st Edition - Up Up & Away.
These little fellas were a joy to colour and I am really pleased with the end result.
The challenges I would like to enter are:
Addicted to Stamps - Make your Mark
Fashionista Challenge - Wedding
Bloggers Challenge - Wedding
Here come the Boys - Masculine
365 Cards - Unconventional Wedding
Hi Julie. Well done, this card is just perfect for your intended purpose. Love the way you flipped the original image to create your own. Great colouring too. Thanks for joining the fun at ATSM. Good Luck! Monika
ReplyDeleteJulie, this is a fabulous card, and I love that it is made especially for such a unique wedding. I hope you will submit more of your pretty cards to the challenge in the future! hugs, Donna
