Teenager

Happy new year everyone, hope you had a great time over the festive season.

I am beginning the year with a card for my nephew and my latest DT inspiration for DIGI CHOOSDAY.

I have used papers and the 'basketball' digi image from the Little Dudes Collection

I have coloured my image with Copics, I was trying to go for a darker skin tone, but it looks a bit orangey, think I need to find a different combo for that!

I created the wording using a new crafty gadget I got for Christmas - we r memory keepers letter punch board.

I do hope you join us over at the Challenge Blog and look forward to seeing all your lovely creations.

Party Time

For this weeks DIGI CHOOSDAY inspiration I have taken a break from Christmas to create a cute Birthday card, perfect for the princess in your life.

I have used a digital image and digital papers from Winnie Celebrations 1.

I coloured my image with Copics and a little white pencil on the balloons.

The balloon strings were created using a polkadoodles  border stamp, that I bent so it wasn't straight up and down.

Don't forget all our challenges are ANYTHING GOES, with a chance to win some Polkadoodles goodies.

I look forward to seeing all your wonderful projects.

Over the Rooftops

We are getting so close to Christmas and Polkadoodles have the most fabulous digi images and clear stamps for your Christmas projects.

For this weeks  DIGI CHOOSDAY inspiration I have used paper and a digi Reindeer from Festive Christmas Soup and also part of one of the toadstool house stamps, I purchased on the Hochanda one day special and created a little over the rooftops scene.

I part stamped the toadstool house and masked off before I used inks to create the moon and sky.

I coloured the house and Reindeer with Copics and cut it out using a Polkadoodles stitched circles die.

finally adding some die cut snowflakes and a little glitter to the snow.

Arctic Snow

For this weeks DIGI CHOOSDAY inspiration I have created a little arctic scene, using my inks.

I added to this some of the sweet tree/mushroom stamps from the Showtime Magic Set.

I splattered the background with some White metallic water colour paint to create the snow and finally added my Penguin family from Winnie Winterland, which have been coloured with Copics.

We would love to see you share your Polkadoodles projects on any of our social media pages and also our weekly ANYTHING GOES challenge over at DIGI CHOOSDAY.

Lady Rose 2

Back again with my second Aurora Wings Showcase, another stunning image from Mitzi and I really love how the colours turned out on this image.

I used a combo of BV Copics with some green and pink in 00 & 000 for the background clouds.

I got completely carried away with the liquid pearls on this image, but I think it adds to the fantasy of this image.

I finished the card off with a gem strip and a lovely silver grey bow

Lady Rose

You are in for a treat today with some gorgeous new images from Aurora Wings, the two that I am showcasing today are just the type of images I love to colour, first up is 'Lady Rose'

Turquoise is my goto colour for a lot of projects and thought it teamed beautifully with the Red rose.

I like to keep a simple card layout when the images are so intricate, so just layered up some matching card, with some hearts embossed on the Turquoise.

There is loads of sparkle in real life on her wings and also the ribbons.

You can find Lady Rose 2 Here

To celebrate we have two special offers for the weekend.

You can find all the links and some beautiful projects from my Team Mates over on the Aurora Wings Showcase Blog.

The Golden Compass

It's time for some more DIGI CHOOSDAY Inspiration and this week the design team were asked to take inspiration from a movie and I chose THE GOLDEN COMPASS', such a magical movie about a young girl called Lyra who lives in an alternate universe and ends up befriending a Polar Bear called Lorek.

So the image I have used this week is from Octavia Frosted Winter and is called 'Polar Family'.

The image is coloured with Copics and I followed a past Kit & Clowder class to create the Northern lights background.

I also used a lot of clear Spectrum Noir sparkle pen on both the snow and the moon.

I mounted onto some lovely blue sparkle paper and finished with a couple of die cut Christmas Trees.

If you pop to the challenge blog today you can grab the DIGI CHOOSDAY discount code.

We love seeing your makes both in the challenge and over on Facebook and Instagram, so don't be shy, show us your fabulous makes.
