Eden Sparkle

Wow Tuesday again, today at DIGI CHOOSDAY the team were asked to Bling it up, so I have done that with lots of perfect pearls and metallic gel pens.

The image I have worked with is Eden Birdcage.

My image has been coloured with comics and then little pearl drops added to the centre of each flower and then randomly around.

I have used clear Spectrum Noir sparkle pen on her dress and also the little bird.

Layered in pink and Gold card onto a pale green glitter background.

I also painted the flower with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

Adventures in Paint Pouring

For the longest time I have wanted to try Acrylic Paint Pouring.  I have been watching youtube tutorials for months, but not been brave enough to take the plunge.

Well today I finally stopped procrastinating and got my paint on.

I just did what is called a basic flip cup pour, where you layer the paints in a cup and then flip it onto the canvas.

The only thing I added to the paint was Decoarts Pouring Medium.  I have read and seen loads of info on adding silicon to get cells (which is the little lace like holes that appear), but I thought I would keep it simple for a first go and yay I do have some cells.

I used 4 colours in my pour all cheap acrylic paints from Hobbycraft.

Dark Green
Bahama Blue
Pearl White
Lime Green

I can see this being very addictive, it is so much fun, waiting to see what appears as you turn and lean the canvas, I think this looks a little under the Ocean like.

Remembrance

My final project for todays Aurora Wings Showcase is the beautiful Remembrance.

Once again my image is coloured with Copics and the flower headband is decorated with liquid pearls and novo drops in a mix of reds and golds.

I didn't think the image needed anything else, so again I kept a simple layout and just matted and layered black and gold card and placed on a designer paper from my stash.

I hope you have enjoyed out triple showcase and there is plenty more inspiration for these wonderful images from my team mates over at the Aurora Wings Showcase Blog.

Tags & Bags

Wow is it Tuesday already, that can only mean one thing.... A brand new ANYTHING GOES challenge over at DIGI CHOOSDAY.

This week we were given the challenge to make something Christmas themed but not a card.  Well I nearly always do cards, but it was a great opportunity to use some of the fabulous papers and pre-coloured images that Polkadoodles has.

I chose papers from Octavia Frosted Winter and decorated a little gift bag I made from card and also a matching Tag.

The Poinsettia is also from the collection and layered then edged with tickles.

We look forward to seeing all your makes over at the CHALLENGE BLOG.

Don't forget to hop over there for todays discount code.
