Sentimental

I found this weeks DIGI CHOOSDAY Design Team brief, a little tricky as I am primarily a colourist and don't often use a sentiments on my cards, so it was hard for me make the sentiment the focus.

But of course, there are so many beautiful sentiments in the Polkadoodles collections, that it didn't take me long to find a beautiful one to use.  This one is from Winnie Sugar Sprinkles.

I had an abundance of beautiful papers to choose from as well and finally settled on papers from Lil Miss Sugar Pops 1, which I used for the background and the Butterfly.

I cut a couple of the cute unicorns which are also fromLil Miss Sugar Pops 1, coloured them with Copics and SN Sparkle pens and layered them.

Flower Sprites

It has been a while since our last Showcase at Aurora Wings, but we are back today to share four beautiful new Flower Sprites.

I have coloured both Buttercup Sprite and Thistle Sprite.

Both images have been coloured with Copics, using dies and papers from my stash.

There is also Honeysuckle Sprite and Trumpet Honeysuckle Sprite - which unfortunately I did not have time to colour, but the rest of the team have made some lovely inspiration samples for you to see.

Outdoor Fun

The summer is nearly here and the weather has been lovely in the UK for the last couple of weeks, so at DIGI CHOOSDAY this week our DT inspiration is all about outdoor fun.

One of my favourite things when I was younger was to look in the rock pools at the beach and when I visited Hawaii for my Honeymoon, we snorkelled in the sea with wild turtles, so the image I chose to use this week is from Winnie Starfish & Sandcastles.

The papers and sentiment are all from the same collection and I used a polka doodles Cloud die along with a couple of others from my craft stash.

The image is coloured with Copics and I used a little fluffy puffy stuff on the wave breaks.
