Sassy Studio Designs are sponsoring the latest challenge at Creative Knockouts with a theme of DRY EMBOSSING. A great chance to try out a new embossing folder by Creative Expressions, the one I have used is 'Frosty Swirls'.
My image is 'Snow Queen Buttercream Babe'.
I printed her onto some blue snowflake dig paper and coloured with Copics.
I painted her cape and bodice with a mix of decoupage glue and fine glitter, which I also covered the Memory Box die cut with.
Thanks for looking.

Aurora Wings July Challenge
This month I am super excited to join the talented team and be a Guest Designer over on the main Aurora Wings Challenge Blog.
The theme is 'Wings' and Mitzi has plenty of beautiful winged images in the Digi shop.
I chose to work with an image I first used sometime ago - Shades of Blue, but I was never really happy with it.
This time I am so much happier with my colouring, I think this is mainly down to the colour tones I have chosen.
The image is coloured with Copics as is the background, which I then carefully dripped with Surgical Spirit.
I mixed up some Glossy Decopatch glue with extra fine glitter and painted it on the edges of the wings and also on the flowers that I have added all of which are from WOC.
I created the background myself using a free orchid clip art image, then tracing in the silhouette studio, duplicating it and adding to a square frame.
Thanks so much Mitzi for having me this month.
Challenges I would like to enter:-
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
Copic Markers Europe - Ssummer Vibes
Colouring in Scrapland - Dream of a Summer Night
Incy Wincy Designs - Things with Wings
Lauralcraft Dragonfly Dreams- Midsummer Delights
Hiding in my Craftroom - Lots of Layers
Graphit Markers - 2 Main Colours - Pink/Blue
Noor Design - Something Old( Digi Image)/Something New (Orchid Die Background)
Silhouette Challenges - Anything Goes

Queen Elsa
Today Sassy Studio Designs are sponsoring the latest challenge over at Outlawz Challenges.
Their theme is 'Christmas in July' and what better image to use than Queen Elsa.
I needed to make a gift for a little girls 5th FROZEN Birthday Party, so I made a personalised door hangar, it would also make a fab Christmas Decoration.
I covered an MDF base with some christmas paper from LOTV and sanded around the edges once dry. I then coated the whole hangar with glitter modge podge to make it sparkle.
I added a lace die cut through the centre and the name is cut in white vinyl, I also added a little blingy snowflake and a hand-tied satin bow.
The image has been coloured with Copics, I have added a wink of stella to the dress which gives it a lovely sparkle, but unfortunately you cannot see it in the photos :(.
Challenges I would like to enter:-
Fairytale Challenge - Bling, Bling
Morgans Art World - Christmas in July
Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper - Anything Goes
Emerald Faeries - Christmas in July
One Sweet Challenge - Christmas in July

Farewell
It is with sadness that I post my final DT creation for Open Minded Crafting Fun, unfortunately the blog is closing and this will be our final challenge.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Susan, Vicky and Erin for running such a great challenge blog, it is definitely the most organized DT I have had the pleasure to work on.
I also wish my fellow team-mates all the best, see you in blog-land ladies.
So without further ado, our final challenge is 'KIDS WANT TO HAVE FUN'.
I have used an image by The Stamping Boutique called 'A J Racer'. Just perfect for little boys.
As usual my weapon of choice was Copics.
I used up some scraps I had for the layers and a 'La-La Land' banner die.
We would love for you to join us one last time for a chance to win one of the following prizes from our sponsors.
Challenges I would like to enter:-
Allsorts Challenge - Banner/Flag

Leo
Sassy Studio Designs are sponsoring the latest challenge at Wicked Wednesday, which is an ATC challenge with the theme of ZODIAC.
I used 'Leo Zodiac', which is one of the latest releases.
This is actually my first ATC and I had to do a little research to clarify the size, 3.5" x 2.5". So this is much smaller than I normally work, as most of my images are about 4 - 6" tall for an 8 x 8 card.
I started with the background which I coloured all over with Copic E33, then used a pipette to randomly put drops of surgical spirit, creating a lovely mottled effect.
Once the background was all dry I completed the image with Copics.
It was actually really nice, not to have to think about layouts for a card, although I will probably add it to a card eventually.
Challenges I would like to enter are:-
Wicked Wednesday ATC - Zodiac
Addicted to Stamps - Make your mark
Incy Wincy Designs - Spots or dots

Playful Moon
My card for the new challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun is a lovely image by Faeryink called 'Playful Moon'.
It is a photo inspiration challenge, which I completely forgot about and only remembered after I had made the card. Thankfully I think I have picked up on the bright blues and pinks in the photo.
A couple of weeks back I attempted a night sky, but was not happy with the results, so this was an opportunity to try a different approach, which needs some work, but I am much happier with it.
I did my first no lines coloring and then went around the entire image with Copic W9, which is a really dark grey, then I sprinkled drops of blending solution over the top to get the bubbly effect.
Next I added some silver stars and dots with a silver pen.
For the background I misted my card with some sprinkys from Inkylicious and some perfect pearls for some shine, I was trying to get an outta space galaxy kind of feel.
I finished with some silver vinyl stars, flowers, sparkly goosebumps and a sentiment drawn with silhouette sketch pens.
Sponsors for this challenge are:
Alphabet Challenge - J is for Jewels
Fussy & Fancy - Fancy Folds
Thats Crafty - Wish upon a Star
Wags n Whiskers - More than one fold
Copic Spain - Fantasy
Ike World - Fantasy

I used my Cameo to create the diecuts and the sentiment is done with the sketch pens.
Then used a star embossing folder on some pearlescent blue card.
