DTBST - Box or Bag

Welcome to a new Dare to be Sassy Thursday, our theme this week is to decorate a bag or a box.

I have used the beautiful 'Ella at the Ball'.

I reused a pink glitter gift bag that I kept from Christmas and coloured my image with Copics to match.

I used a Lavinia Stamps star stamp with a Lavender Versafine ink for the background, the sentiment is by Inkylicious.

I finished the bag with a pop up flower from the Silhouette store.

Kiss From a Rose

We have a new challenge this fortnight at Open-Minded Crafting Fun, our theme is a great one 'Inspired by a Song', there are so many ways to go with this one.

I used an image by one of our sponsors Enchanted Dezign Studio called "Rose Tattoo', she reminded me of the Seal song - Kiss from a Rose.

As usual the image is coloured with Copics, but I actually used some Graph-it markers I won recently for the red roses, they were nice to use but do not have the lovely brush nibs like Copics.

The background was an embossing folder by Creative Expressions, its great as it is an A4 size.

I finished with some cheap flowers I got at Hobby Craft (50p for a 12 pack!!!) and a pretty diamonte gem.

Celebration Time

This weekend the Aurora Wings Easy shop is 2 years old and to celebrate Mitzi is holding a celebration full of games and fun over on the Facebook group, so come along and join in all the fun.

There is also a lovely new Sprite FREEBIE, yay.

I was lucky enough, along with the rest of the showcase team to have a play with her in advance.

Isn't she adorable, she is called 'Linnia Sprite'.

I have coloured her with Copics and used her to make a thank you card for my Mum, who recently drove over from France for 3 weeks to care for me after my Hysterectomy.  It was lovely having her stay and I really could not have managed without her - Love you Mum xx

The thank you was made with a file from the Silhouette store and the butterflies and pearls are from my stash.

DTBST - Save the Date

This weeks 'Dare to be Sassy Thursday' theme is Save the Date.

I decided it would be fun to make a Hen Night save the date using the lovely Pin Up Bunny.

I started by creating a calendar in the Silhouette software, the pink frame was a purchase, the rest I created around it, I also used the print and cut to cut around my Sassy Lady.

I coloured up my Sassy Bunny with Copics and placed her so she was pointing at the date.

DTBST #281 Tag You're It

Welcome to my first Dare to be Sassy Thursday ( DTBST) project.

This week we were asked to create a tag, I chose the image 'Curvy Babydoll Sassy' and coloured her with Copics.

The tag was actually cut ages ago when I had a circuit machine and thought it would be perfect for this challenge.

Just noticed I have not shared the card I made for my FIL for my MIL's 70th, so whilst I am recovering from my operation and unable to craft too much, I thought it would be a good opportunity to share.

The image is by the wonderful Aurora Wings and called 'Peace Rose'.

I have coloured her up with Copics and I am really pleased with how she turned out, especially the large red rose, I was a bit intimidated by it at first.

Fairy Tangles

Here is another card I created in advance of my operation, still not strong enough to get in the craft room, 2 weeks post op, but hoping I may be by the end of the week.

This card is for the latest challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun, the theme is 'Wedding/Anniversary'.  The image I have used is by Fairy Tangles and called 'Forget me Knot'

She has been coloured with Copics.  The background paper is from LOTV and the flowers from WOC.  The corner dies are Tattered Lace.

I decided not to add a sentiment so that I can use it for either a Wedding or Anniversary card.
