I chose to work with Jungle Jane and I loved coloring her, I tried a new Copic hair combo E71, E74, E77 and E79 and I am really liking the outcome.
The background leaves and vine are both from the silhouette store and the sentiment is by Gingers House.

We're all Stars Bloghop
Welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs 'We're all Stars Blog Hop', if you are following along you should have arrived from Rachelle or to find the beginning, head back to the SSD Blog.
I am very excited to do my first blog hop and what awesome images Lindsay has created for us. I was lucky enough to work with 'Taurus', which ties in nicely with my Mums Birthday in May.
The background and frame are both from the silhouette store and the image has been coloured with my trusty Copics.
I also cut the word Mum and filled with some fab paper created by team mate Greg (Thanks Greg).
Then added the Taurus Constellation in vinyl stars.
Finished off with a few gems and flowers from my stash.
Hope you are enjoying our hop, make sure you comment on all the stops along the way so you can have a chance win one of the fab new images.
Aurora Sleeping
Well I have prepared this post a little in advance as today sees me 2 days post op, probably feeling a little delicate and hopefully on the road to recovery.
This image is by The East Wind and called 'Aurora Sleeping', such a peaceful image and perfect for our latest challenge over at Open-Minded Crafting Fun which is 'Shabby Chic'.
This is a theme I always struggle with, but I gave it my best shot under the circumstances.
The image is coloured with Copics.
Thanks for visiting

Maleficent
This week Sassy Studio Designs are sponsoring Simply Papercrafts with the theme of 'Lots of Layers'.
I used a fab image called 'Maleficent Sassy' and I just had to re-watch the film in the middle of creating my project.
As always she is coloured with Copics, boy did I struggle with those pleats, especially doing it two tone, but i think it works.
The silver background is some old wallpaper I found, the die cuts are from the Silhouette store.
The sentiment was created by me and nested on spellbinders labels 13.
Thanks for stopping by :)
Challenges I would like to enter:-
Fairytale Challemge - Now or Never - 1st time using this image
Simply Create Too - Pretty Woman
Simply Papercraft - Layers

Sassy Studio Designs
I am so excited to announce that I made it onto another fab design team, you can probably guess by the title of this post.
So pleased I made it, just love coloring these cuties.
My first make as part of the team as inspiration for Outlawz Challenges who's latest challenge we are sponsoring.
Their theme is 'Something old, Something New, Something Blue'.
So I did a literal interpretation of this one and went for a wedding card, using the lovely 'Bella Bride Sassy'.
I used a lovely new embossing folder by Creative Expressions called Swirling Hearts on some pearlescent blue textured card.
The flowers are a new die, not sure who by as I binned the packaging ahhhh.
The other die cuts were all from the Silhouette store.
For my old, I would say my trusty Copics and the image, as it is one I have used before. I have added some glitter to the flowers on the image and also covered the whole dress in a wink on stella, which you can see better in the bottom photo.
I hope you enjoy me fist project for the team and do go and join in the challenge over at Outlawz and also check out the lovely projects by my team mates at Sassy Studio Designs.
Ohh and check out my beautiful new team watermark isn't fab :)
Thanks for looking

Its showcase day over at Aurora Wings and Mitzi's latest image is a cutie, she is called 'Little Kitsune Anko'
As usual she is coloured with Copics and I also used a couple of Graphit markers that I won recently.

The Japanese maple is from the silhouette Store and the dies around the image are Spellbinders Grand Labels 11.

Recycle Something
It's time for a new challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun, this fortnight we would like you to recycle something in your project.
I started by using the discarded card insert from a box frame.
Finally I added my image which is by one of our sponsors Stichy Bear the image is called 'Serenity' by Ali Peeps. She has been colored with Copics.
Here is the final project.
Our fab sponsors this fortnight are:-
I started by using the discarded card insert from a box frame.
I stamped some Adirondack inks in Purple Twilight and Pink Sherbert on to my mat and spritzed with water, then rubbed my card frame around in the mix.
When it was dry I spritzed with Aegean Sea sprinky and also perfect pearls to give it a lovely shimmer.
Next I cut some white vinyl words out and adhered to the dry frame and decorated with butterflies, flowers and pearls.
Here is the final project.

Reverie
It's time for another beautiful release over at Aurora Wings Showcase Blog.
This new image is called 'Reverie' it is a beauty and comes in at 7" x 10" or 17.8 x 25.4 cm, so bigger than usual with lots of detail. I kept this image at the original size which is almost A4.
I wanted to create a kind of other worldly fantasy look and also try to keep to a limited colour palette.
I used Spectrum Noir Pencils to colour this beauty and as my favourite colour is green, I decided to use this as the dominant colour.
I used about 8 different shades of green along with some yellow, orange and peachy naturals for the main image. I then used green, yellow and blue adirondack inks around the edge and sprinkled some cream/gold frantage around.
I really fell in love with this image and she is now framed and sitting proudly on my craft desk.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to take a peek at the lovely work by my team-mates.
There is also a 2250 members party this easter weekend, so pop along for fun, games and prizes.
