Digi Choosday Week 34

I have been itching to use some of the new Lil Miss Sugarpops images, so I chose 2 images from the Download 1 Kit to create my Tag cards.

Last Summer, my son and I had fun with Shaving foam and distress inks and created these beautiful marbled backgrounds, finally I have a project they are perfect for.

Both of my images are coloured with Copics and I have used the same tag and background for each, just in different colour schemes.  I think they make perfect cards for little girls.

Our challenge as usual is ANYTHING GOES and we would love to see you join in and also post to our Facebook group.

I matted onto a co-ordinating heart embossed background, then edged with Gold card, to match the colour scheme of the design sheet.

Aurora Wings Elements

We have a new challenge for you today over at Aurora Wings and our theme is........

I was convinced I wanted to do Fire as my theme, but as you can see from the image below, I had a major change and went with Water - I so love colouring Mitzi's Mermaids.

Normally I go for Teal or Orange, but this time I went for a rainbow look inspired by a recent

I started by painting a watercolour background and was going to colour with Copics, until I realised they do not blend on watercolour paper, so instead I grabbed my Prisma Pencils and used a combination of purple, pink and orange to colour her beautiful tale.

Then I went a bit mad with Gold paint splatter and novo drops, but it looks really magical in real life, not sure I have truly captured it in the photos.

I added some coral using stamps from Inkylicious and Lavinia Stamps using adirondack inks.

Finally I mounted onto black card and added a memory box die cut.

We would love to see your element projects.

The Dancing Princess

Today I am sharing a card I have made using the image I coloured with the latest Kit & Clowder class.

The beautiful image is by Moonflower called Lilly The Dancing Princess.

I have coloured with Copics and made into a card for my niece's 18th Birthday this week.

I wanted to keep my original colouring, so I scanned it and made the card with copy.  The colour is a little duller in the scanned image, but still looks good.

I decorated with a mix of resin and paper flowers.

This is my original coloured image.

Challenges Entered:-

Pink Gem - Birthday
Simply Create Too - Use Flowers

Digi Choosday Week 31

We are still full of Christmas spirit over at DIGI CHOOSDAY.

Unfortunately work commitments have meant I am a little behind with my DT work (oops), but wait all is not lost, with all the pre-coloured images available to me, I was able to make a really quick hanging decoration.

I took an image from Festive Hollybobs and cut around it on my Cameo.  I found a Poinsettia file I have (Sandras Scrapshop) and cut out several layers in red card stock.

I edged each petal with my clear Spectrum Noir sparkle pen and 20 minutes later a beautiful decoration for my tree.

We would love to see you enter our ANYTHING GOES challenge and of course there is a prize on offer.

To help there is also a discount code every Choosday.
