Dragonfly Moon

I am so excited to share my DT card this week for DIGI CHOOSDAY, as I am rather pleased with the background.

The image is from the Octavia Moonfly Collection and as the Design Teams brief was to use an animal, I took a little artistic licence and used Octavia Moonfly Dragonfly.


The image and background are both coloured with Copics.  The background was a technique I learnt with one of the monthly Kit & Clowder markers classes and I just love how it turned out.



I break up the sky I cut two cityscapes from black card and layered them at the bottom, I had seen a layout out very similar to this on a challenge blog - you can see my inspiration here.

Succulent Sprite

We have some gorgeous new sprites to show you over at the Aurora Wings Showcase Blog.

Unfortunately I have only had time to colour one of these cuties.

So here is my 'Succulent Sprite'.



She is coloured with Copics, I think I used about 12 different greens.  I used a design from the silhouette store to create the cutout and layered  onto some designer papers.

Husky Hugs

For this weeks DIGI CHOOSDAY  inspiration have used an image from one of my favourite collections Octavia Frosted Winter, it has some beautiful images as well as tons of gorgeous backgrounds, sentiments and embellishments.

This image is called 'Husky Hugs'.


I Spritzed the background with a mix of turquoise and Red distress inks and also splattered with gold water colour paints.

The image is coloured with Copics, with a hefty amount of clear SN Sparkle pen on the snow.


Lastly I cut some pine cones and branches from white card to embellish.

Party Time

We have a party theme to our Design Team projects this week at DIGI CHOOSDAY, of course the theme to enter our challenge is always ANYTHING GOES.

I have used the sweet 'Winnie Hurray' from Winnie Celebrations 1.

I cut a cake stepper card using my Cameo and used papers and a sentiment from the collection to decorate.



I used Copics to colour my image.
