Cold Outside

Time for a new Digi Choosday challenge and this week the DT were challenged to use Green/Red, Windows/Doors.

I was initially going to do a scene through a window, but that didn't leave too much scope for colouring and I really wanted to colour an image this week.

So I had a little look on pinterest and saw several cards that were double opening doors, so i decided to have a go and make my own, I cut all the rectangles and edged with distress ink, before layering them up, I then added a little letterbox, brad door knobs and some mistletoe.

I chose the lovely fireside scene  from Winter Winter Land, to go inside, which I coloured with Copics.

I layered the image onto a lovely paper from the Festive Hollybobs collection to create the wallpaper and also added a framed sentiment as a picture, to finish my cosy living room scene.
