Slow Loris Fundraiser

Today is a very special project to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog.

Mitzi is holding a special fundraiser for Slow Loris Rescue at InternationalAnimalRescue.org.



Slow lorises are becoming endangered from poaching and mistreated in illegal exotic animal trades. Our fundraiser hopes to raise awareness in the general public beyond that of "a viral video of the cute animal being tickled" and to raise fund for the charity organization that actively rescues and rehabilitates these animals.

Mitzi is kindly offering a gift of a digital stamp, "Slow Loris Sprite", to anyone who makes a donation of any amount and donations of $10 USD or more will receive a second digi of a Slow Loris in addition.

These are Special Limited Edition digis, created specifically for this fundraiser, and will not be made available for purchase in the future. Please donate today and join the friends of Aurora Wings to support the conservation and humane treatment of these beautiful creatures!!

I have had the privilege of  being able to colour up one of the adorable images - too cute.



I made a hanging heart.  I started with a blank MDF heart and then covered with a sheet of designer paper by first Edition - Summer Breeze.

Once the glue was dry, I sanded around the edges and then brushed them with Gold gilding wax.

I cut up some branch dies from the Silhouette store for him to sit on, then added a few flowers and pearls.  Finishing off with a lovely organza bow.

This little guy is coloured with Copics with some added Glossy Accents to those giant eyes.
