Owl Spirit

It's showcase time at Aurora Wings, which means another beautiful new image from Mitzi.

Today we are showcasing 'Owl Spirit'.


She has been coloured with Copics, I actually used my yellow (not a fan) but I think they look nice with the lilacs and pinks though in the photo you cannot see the shading :(.

Here are a couple of pictures of various stages of creating this card.



She looks so strange without her eyes coloured.



I am not so good at colouring animals so went for a snowy owl - lol not much coloring needed for this one.


I framed her with a lovely flourish frame from the Silhouette store and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

She will be available in the Shop today.

    Julie, I LOVE the yellow in this! I agree it can be a tricky color - seems there's a fine line between just right and too much when it comes to perky yellow. :D You've done a fab job of balancing the yellow with the purple and pink here, and I LOVE your design. So feminine and beautiful! Thank you for the gorgeous inspiration for this new release today.
