New Years Resolutions


Happy new year everyone, welcome to my first post of 2015.

Todays card is for the new challenge over at Open-Minded crafting Fun, where the theme is 'New years resolutions'.  Not really my strong point, I normally break them within a week and normally involves no chocolate or cigarettes.

Hopefully I can stick to this years resolution as it is something I enjoy, which is to complete my Skin & Hair coloring classes at Kit & Clowder and then move onto the clothing techniques class.

So here is my card to depict this.


The cute image is by one of our lovely sponsors, Meljen Designs and is called 'Artists mug'.

I used my Christmas pressie from hubby to colour the image, lovely Spectrum Noir Pencils, still getting to grips with blending, but hey my resolution is to practice :)


I used some blue sprinky ink to create the mottled background and added a sentiment cut from Vinyl.

All created in my new and improved craft room (Thanks Hubby), so nice to be organized again.
