Butterfly Sprite


We have a new challenge over at Aurora Wings and it's an 'ANYTHING GOES' challenge, so plenty of scope with Mitzi's beautiful images.



I have chosen to use Butterfly Sprite and coloured her with Copics in shades of purple, blue and grey.





Earlier in the year I went to Ally Pally and brought loads of new products to try, one of which was the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks and the background on this card was my first attempt using them.  I think it turned out pretty cool.

Another thing I wanted to try was gilding flakes, which I have used here on the dandelion and sentiment, very messy but I like the effect.

    So sweet, Julie! Butterfly Sprite is so adorable. Love your color choices and what cool effects you've done in the background. I've bought both Distress Oxides AND gilding flakes and so far haven't tried either. You've inspired me. xxD

    Julie, this is gorgeous! I'm partial to the colors in the range here, so I find this irresistible with your gorgeous coloring on the Butterfly Sprite and the beautiful background that you made.
