Aurora Wings Celebration

Hi everyone, this weekend at Aurora Wings we are having a celebration, it is a  3K Members Party and we will also be showcasing some beautiful new images, ooooh and a lovely discount code.



I have had the pleasure of colouring up the mesmerising 'Siren', I always enjoy colouring up Mitzi's mermaids and was excited to colour this one.


I have used Copics on this A5 sized colouring and used some techniques learnt with the monthly colouring classes at Kit & Clowder.

I drew in a large moon behind her and thought a nice purple tinged northern lights sky would look lovely against all the green and turquoise.  I also added some home made texture paste to the sea where she is emerging.

    Beautiful work, Julie! I love the palette you used on the mermaid - she totally looks like a mysterious creature from the deep that came up to admire the night sky. The full moon with aurora sky beautifully completes this magical scene. Thank you so much for this lovely inspiration for our giant showcase for the special occasion today! Mitzi xxx
