She has been coloured using Copics and Graph-it Markers.
I tried to do a watercolour background, but I am guessing it works much better on watercolor paper? Think I need to have a practice with this - lol.

Oh this is so pretty! I love the image and the design paper is beautiful. I just did some watercolor on a background (not watercolor paper). If you take some ink and put it on your mat then add water to it you can use it with a dry brush and spread it around that way. I had to practice a lot before I got it descent. It is not easy to do it on non-watercolor paper but it can be done. Your background looks windy and I like it. Thanks so much for playing along with us at CWWC and good luck. Hugs, Robin
