Rose Garden

When I saw the new releases at Polkadoodles called 'Octavia Moonfly', I just had to have them all - oops don't tell hubby.......

So today I finished colouring up my first image, she is called 'Octavia Rose Garden' and I have coloured her with Spectrum Noir Pencils.

I wanted to try coloring on Kraft, but didn't have any, so I used normal card, which is kind of a similar colour.  I am sure the results on the right paper would have been much better.

I also got a bit careless with my base layer of yellow on her dress and followed the lines of her wings, not realizing, until it was too late, it is much more noticeable in the photo, no idea how to fix a pencil mistake???!

I also added a wink of stella to her wings, the ladybugs and punched butterflies.

The frame and tag are both cut on the Silhouette Cameo and the tag was stamped with an old vine stamp I have, finished off with a hand tied bow.

Now on to the next one, they are just adorable, think I will use Copics this time :)
