Sweet Baby Girl

What a lovely sunny day and I am lucky enough to be on a days holiday from work, to catch up on some craft time!!

Today I want to share with you a card and gift I have made for a friend to welcome her new baby girl.

I cut the card shape on my Cameo, using a template by Birds cards, then stamped the image and sentiment by LOTV onto white card and coloured with Copics.

I designed the inside sentiment in the Silhouette software and did a 'print and cut' and glued to the bottom layer.  I added 2 teardrop gems in a heart shape for the main image to rest against.

Then added a pink bow to finish.

My gift is also designed in the silhouette software, then cut in vinyl and added to a basic 10 x 7.5 white kitchen tile.  To finish off the tile I used an adhesive cork backing.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. What a great card and gift. I really love the way you have kept the whole thing simple and allowed the card design and the image to sing by themselves without too many embellies. This way it looks elegant. Thanks for sharing with us at Crafting with Dragonflies for our current shaped card challenge.
