CCM #113 - You've been Framed

Jackie is hosting the current challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers and more. She has chosen the theme 'You've Been Framed', and she would like to see a prominently displayed frame on your project, this can be stamped, die cut, or made up of other materials, or you could decorate an actual frame.

I have really been neglecting my colouring since Christmas and with that in mind and also because I am a huge fan of hers, I have signed up to the skin and hair class over at Kit and Clowder designed and run by the lovely Alcye Keegan.

I have only watched and practised the first lesson so far (never enough crafting hours in the day), but I am hopeful that my colouring technique will improve in time - pleaseeeee let me improve :)

Which leads me to my card for this weeks challenge.
I have chosen an adorable image called 'I love you slow much' by Wee Stamps.  She has been coloured with Copics and the background was done with Adirondack inks and ink dusters

The papers are First Edition - Animal Antics.  Both the image and sentiment frames are from the Sil store and cut on my Cameo, then dusted with Adirondack ink in Peach Bellini.

Flowers - Wild orchid Crafts

Ribbon, Lace & Gems - From my stash

Sweet Baby Girl

What a lovely sunny day and I am lucky enough to be on a days holiday from work, to catch up on some craft time!!

Today I want to share with you a card and gift I have made for a friend to welcome her new baby girl.

I cut the card shape on my Cameo, using a template by Birds cards, then stamped the image and sentiment by LOTV onto white card and coloured with Copics.

I designed the inside sentiment in the Silhouette software and did a 'print and cut' and glued to the bottom layer.  I added 2 teardrop gems in a heart shape for the main image to rest against.

Then added a pink bow to finish.

My gift is also designed in the silhouette software, then cut in vinyl and added to a basic 10 x 7.5 white kitchen tile.  To finish off the tile I used an adhesive cork backing.

Thanks for stopping by.
